Acoustic Reports for Commercial Developments

DK Acoustics Pty Ltd provides Acoustic Reports for new commercial developments. The Acoustic Report includes an Environmental Noise Impact Noise Assessment of noise sources within the development affecting the nearby properties to meet Council requirements.

We provide noise assessment for the following developments:

• Clubs, Hotels, Bars and Restaurants: outdoor smoking, dining and gaming areas, amplified music, mechanical plant and carparks associated with the development
• Childcare Centres: outdoor and indoor play areas, air-conditioning plant and the carpark
• Boarding Houses: ventilation and air-conditioning plant, carpark and communal areas
• Gymnasiums: training activities, amplified music, air-conditioning plant and the carpark

The Environmental Noise Impact Reports are provided with recommendations for noise control to meet the following requirements:

• Noise Guide for Local Government published by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA)
• NSW Noise Policy for Industry published by the EPA
• Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) requirements
• Council requirements including the Conditions of Consent, Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and the Development Control Plan (DCP)
