DK Acoustics Pty Ltd provides Acoustic Reports for submission to Council to support Development Applications and Construction Certificates in all areas of Sydney, Central and South Coast and the Blue Mountains. The reports include a noise assessment, noise control recommendations, including recommended building materials and type of windows, and noise compliance certification.

Acoustic Consultant The acoustic reports are prepared by Danny Kastak, a qualified acoustical consulting engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and Master of Engineering Science degree at the University of New South Wales, with over 20 years of experience and a member of the Institute of Engineers, Australia and Australian Acoustical Society.

ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE IMPACT

The Environmental Noise Impact Reports are prepared with recommendations for noise control to meet Council and EPA requirements for the following developments:

  • Gymnasiums
  • Commercial Developments

NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION CODE (NCC)

The Building Code of Australia (BCA) is part of the National Construction Code (NCC).

The architectural and hydraulic drawings are reviewed and recommendations are provided to comply with Part F7 "Sound transmission and insulation" of the NCC 2022 for Class 2 and 3 buildings (Apartment buildings) and Part 10 of the ABCB Housing Provisions (previously Part 3.8.6.2) for Class 1 buildings (Duplexes and Townhouses).
